My views on peer reviews

How do you feel about peer reviews? What have your experiences with them been like? I have had some peer reviews on my post of my paper that was very helpful and I take the review advice as a good thing. I get really nervous when I know that the professor has to grade my paper. I do not get nervous when one of my peer reads my paper and gives me their oppinions about what I have written. I think that I take the advice and learn from it and work harder to make my paper better so that my grade is the best that I can recieve.

The summary of my last 6 weeks

I have been without a computer for the last 6 weeks and working a lot of hours at work and still trying to balance my time for homework and with my kids. I have been stretching myself pretty thin. I have over come the problem of not having a computer at home to do my homework. So that is a good challenge to succeed and resolving. As far as for my research paper I have still been able to find a lot of research for my paper and I have been working on the paper flowing from idea to idea.

Still holding on so that I reach my goal

The last two months have been a struggle and have really drained me physically and emotionally. However, I will still hold on til I have reached the task that I have chosen of coming back to school. At this point school is really taking a toll on me but I will not give up and quit it is not a choice to me. I have been a strong independant single parent for over 15 years now. I will not let this goal of going to schol stop me from succeeding.

Why we should use cite our resources

Why we should cite our resources is the topic that I have chosen to comment on. I think that when I work hard on a paper, a project or an article I would want my full credit and recognition for writing it and doing the work. With in mind anyone that takes the time to do the work would also want the credit and recognition for doing the work so to take the words of another writer and call it your own just as if you have done the work is simply wrong. The writer did the work and deserves all and full credit and should be the only one getting credit for it. This is also why copyright laws are set in place so that a writer or author gets full recognition and credit for his or her work. Therefore, students in school should give the writer there credit and recognition. We should also not be able to take credit for another individuals work.
